Summer
Evening at Murtle Lake
The weather was amazing! Mid September in BC is the best time to venture out into the mountains! No bugs, and the weather is usually fantastic. Last fall held true to the tradition and provided us with amazing weather at arguably the most scenic inland lake and beaches in central BC.
I was playing with the new 24mm tilt shift lens quite a lot that trip. This shot is a vertical panorama in landscape orientation shifted up and down with the ts-e lens. I also added a slight tilt to allow the focal plane to accommodate the beach and mountains. My polarizor filter added the effect in the sky as well. To top it off each shot is exposed 3 times and processed in Photomatix and Lightroom.
