Alpine Garden

The growing season isn't very long above tree line but when the alpine meadows are in their prime it makes for a magical and colorful scene! This is above Maligne Lake at the Opal Meadows. I used a polarized filter which in this case really brought out the blue of the sky and purple in the flowers. I did not adjust the saturation.
